Year 6s had a great time at Castle Pottery in Knucklas. They had a go at hand carving known as kirinuki which is a Japanese form of making pots, then they had a turn on the pottery wheel and also made a tile using lace and an Indian inking block to create texture on the surface of the clay. The children can’t wait to see the final result when everything has been fired. A huge thank you to artists Tony Hall and Lois Hopwood.
Starting after Half Term we have our new military themed survival club for children in Key Stage 2. Please ensure you have returned your consent slip.
