St Mary’s is a Church of England (Voluntary Aided), co-educational school which caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Our school has very close links with our Parish Church. Together we foster a caring and supportive family atmosphere based on the values and principles of the Christian Faith.
The teaching staff are experienced and whilst producing great results they endeavour to personalise the education experiences for the children and wherever possible use our commitment to creativity to push boundaries
It is a very happy and purposeful school where children are encouraged to grow, explore and be part of a vibrant community. At the heart of our school is the belief that each child is unique and has special talents which should be nurtured. Each child should be provided with the opportunities to succeed through appropriate support and challenge.
At St Mary’s we provide a happy and secure environment where children are able to thrive.
Bucknell is a close knit community and we value our relationship with parents and know that it is a team effort to nurture children and support their development. Whilst your child is attending St Mary’s we are always available for discussion and meetings regarding their progress.
We have fantastic children at St Mary’s and our expectation and standards are high! I hope this prospectus gives you an insight into the school. For further information please have a look at our website or to visit the school, please get in touch with the school office and the Administrator, Mrs Morgan will be happy to help you.
Being a member of a school community can be exciting and rewarding for both child and parent and we look forward to working with you as part of that community.
With best wishes, Miss Anna Cook, Headteacher
